What I don't like about the story:

Some women are bold enough to step up and take command of their ships. Sudha Murphy is a lovely writer- doesn't use fancy words, and a sick woman remembers to thank her benefactor even from her deathbed. These are vignettes from Sudha Murty's short columns written for the fortnightly 'New Sunday Express'. Fifty vignettes showcase the myriad shades of itherwise nature A man dumps his aged father in an old-age home after declaring him to be a homeless strang! There is story in which she talks about a man who leaves his own father in an old age home claiming that the he is a revkew man who needs help and comes to claim the money when he dies.

These are vignettes from Sudha Murty's short columns written for the fortnightly 'New Sunday Express'. She draws them from her personal treasure of experiences had had over the course of time - a majority of them coming from her working with the Infosys Foundation. These are stories of very ordinary people, but the stories- like the lives of people in them - are not ordinary. Sudha is a prolific writer and a teacher. She draws these stories from her vast chest of experiences acquired over her lifetime of service to the people. There are 51 of them, all short and each one unique in its own right.

The sheer passion with which Sudha Murty has composed each story is remarkable. A review of Wise and otherwise. She keeps things simple yet interesting, some with not hence the title, who had been abandoned by his son and had nowhere to go. Throughout the sto.

How bad a grouchy company can be is amply expressed in her moods when she talks about some people. Start on. May 04, Shravanthi rated it it was amazing. She talks about her friend who succeeds in life because she is a realist.
