Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two by John TiffanyIt's a play, it's written as a play, it is not a sequel book - do not confuse it for one. I'm serious, that was one of the number one complaints about this book, and it's not a fair one - cause it's clearly written in the description that it's a play script. It is my dream to be able to go see it on Broadway one day - and it was fascinating to find out the kind of people Harry, Hermione, and Ron had become - but it was also kind of sad. Adulting is hard. This play doesn't shy away from that - and being a son of a legend is also hard.

This edition also includes useful background information including the Potter family tree and a timeline of events from the Wizarding World prior to the beginning of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Sure, I wanted way more of the focus on Hermione running a magical government or for the show to feel as thought it tracked along the timeline of a school year calendar while managing to suggest global implications for the danger at hand as the books did!
The point was that I was prepared to be disappointed, and was totally wrong. PA The play follows Harry as an 'overworked father of three'! The best they could tye up with was Voldemort having a child who tries to bring back her father. Will you shut up for once.

A look at the new "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: The Journey" book out now
Christine, September. I don't know. Putting a new twist on an already-told part of the tale is a strength. Easy to curzed and great story.
Ordered the new Harry Potter book Order arrived quickly and placing the order was easy and quick. If you love Harry Potter movies or books this is a must read. Some instances are saddening and if they ever made a movie the expectation would be that at least one character would be in CGI. A must read! Everyone I've encountered thinks it's weird that it's set up like a play. Because it is actually a play in London right now.
I didn't hate it. Miguel Delaney. It's bound to be better than on paper. Talk about rediculous [sic].
The Harry Potter series has always been a favorite of mine. As past and present fuse ominously, darkness comes from unexpected places, conflicts particularly between Harry and Albus and the dialogue between characters. Oh, they're little Potter and Granger-Weasley. It's not so much about the world and mag.
